The Goodliest Land

Project 365 - January 6

One of Tracy's sisters sent us this adorable burlap bag full of goodies from North Carolina.

My favorite was the soup mugs from one of the local potteries in Seagrove, commonly billed as the pottery capital of the world. Or at least of the state. :)

I've spent many a pleasant Saturday afternoon meandering around the small town, visiting my favorite potters and checking out new ones. With over 90 to choose from within a 20 mile radius, there's something different to see every time.

Maine may have snow, but it won't ever see red clay the likes of which Seagrove is built on.
