Project 365 - January 4For a long time now I've been searching for a nice baby gift I could make.
I've tried a couple of ideas without much success, but I think I finally hit on one.
When my mom and dad were visiting back in the summer, mom asked me who made Jedidiah's towel. Apparently I'm not very observant, because I've been using that towel for 5 years and had no idea it was handmade. Upon closer inspection I saw that the hood was simply a washcloth sewn together at one end and sewn to the towel at the other. So simple...and I love it!
I found some really cute towels and finally tried sewing them yesterday under the watchful eye of my master-seamstress mother. So simple...and I love them! :)
