My next-door neighbor and I have started walking together in our neighborhood.
Most evenings we end up getting back to her house after dark,
after her husband has turned on their Christmas lights.
They're from Minnesota and are used to celebrating Christmas all winter long, which I love.
This evening was mild and we sat on her porch for a while, chatting,
and it was enchanting.
