After seeing all the sights along the Park Loop Road overlooking the ocean, we headed for the interior of Mt Desert Island.As the name implies, there is a mountain on the island. Here are the views along the way to the summit.
I'm not sure if the water we were seeing was ocean inlets or lakes...there are indeed lakes on the island. Can you believe that? Lakes on an island!
