Proud Mama

We had been in the new house a little over a month when I caught sight of something magical...



...a family of geese, complete with three little goslings.

I had never seen baby geese before, and I was transfixed most of the day with the binoculars in one hand and the camera in the other.

You'd think I'd have gotten better pics, wouldn't you? :)

They hung around only a short while, a couple of weeks at most, but it madks me feel like a proud mama myself to think they birthed their goslings on our pond. I hope they're back next year.

And I hope I have some photography skillz by then. :)
