I've spent a great deal of time this week finishing up Jed's baby book.
It's embarrassing, because the book only goes through his first 5 years. :)
Fortunately I had previously recorded the things that would be challenging to remember now...
what we were thinking and doing while expecting him
the details of his birth
all the dates of his "firsts"
how we celebrated the first five years of birthdays and holidays, etc.
I only had to update
the immunization record
the doctors' visits
the growth chart
photographs.
I went through almost 6 years of photographs to choose my favorites,
and it was such a bittersweet thing...
it was fun to remember,
but oh, how I would love to relive even just one of those days!
