I inherited this sewing machine from my great-aunt many years ago.
I don't use it often, but the machine works great.
My mom is an excellent seamstress,
but I didn't inherit her talent (or maybe it's her patience).
I can, however, sew up a fabric placemat to make a mean pillowcase,
and that's what I did today...I made 4 Christmas pillows.
It's still helping to stay busy...
and there was a cancellation at the endodontist's office
(3 weeks before my original appointment!)
so I'm heading in tomorrow morning for a root canal.
Hard to believe I'd be excited about that,
but it will be worth it if it stops this pain.
