Today I took a pleasant drive to Birkdale Village in Huntersville.
Lake Norman is between us and Huntersville,
and it's always a pleasure to cross this huge lake several times in the trip.
Today was extra-nice, since it was bright and sunny and cool.
Birkdale Village is the cutest little place for shopping, dining and theaters.
It's also home to Nothing Bundt Cakes.
my daughter-in-law had brought one of their large cakes to our Thanksgiving dinner last year
and it was incredible.
My neighbor was as delighted with them as I was,
so I headed back there today to buy a few bundtinis for her birthday tomorrow.
And one for me. :)
