Do You See What I See?

Do you see those little white dots in this picture? (click on the picture to enlarge it for better viewing)

Can you guess what they are?

Before you answer, notice the sunbeams coming in through the break between the two houses. Give up?

Those white dots are something I don't think I've ever seen before...snow falling in the sunshine.

I wish a better photographer had captured the beauty in this moment...it was magical.

Hey Sandi...
Yep...sunlight on the falling snow doesn't happen very often...have you experienced "thundersnow" yet? It's a real thing...we've had it here a couple times. You can read about it if you Google it.
Stay warm...me, I'm counting down the days until SPRING!

I've heard of thundersnow...in fact, Columbia had one of those storms the winter after we moved to Maine...I hated I missed it. :) I had to comfort myself with 120" of snow instead. ha
