This was our first glimpse of the lake at the bottom of the glacier, still mostly iced over.
The glacier itself was so large I couldn't get a picture of the whole thing.
The outcropping of rock you can see on the right side of the picture (in the middle)
serves as a diving area in the summer,
when the water temperature rises to a balmy 34 degrees. :)
