June 15, 2015 - Part 6

Our next stop was the frozen tundra!
It was pretty incredible to learn that the environment in this spot is similar to that of Alaska, Canada and Siberia!

Clearly I wasn't prepared for hiking in the snow.  :)  

I didn't have enough room in my suitcase to pack hiking boots, and really, I did fine without them.  

Score one for traveling light!  :)

This rock was our destination.
