Today was a day for experiments.
First up was making a model of the planet Mercury.
I think the salt dough clay was supposed to keep it's shape as a ball,
but I'm pretty sure I added too much water to do that.
Oh well, it will make a great planet surface model anyway. :)
Jed used samples from his vast rock collection as asteroids to simulate craters on the surface of the planet.
Making the craters was much easier than removing the asteroids from the planet's sticky surface. :D
