Apparently his logbook isn't the only thing Jed remembers about letterboxing...he's been working on codes and clues lately too.
This one in the bathtub was beyond my comprehension, even with the hints he gave me. They include:
1. The colors of the letters are meaningful, not the letters themselves.
2. It's one of his favorite lunches.
Since this particular favorite lunch is his creation, it's not likely anyone else is going to figure it out either. But just in case you're itching for a challenge, there will be a generous reward for the brilliant soul that gets it.

Peanut Butter and Jelly with Apple Slices?
Umm, no, but that sounds yummy!!
Tell Jed that he's made one tough clue! I've puzzled over this a lot and just can't crack it. I wondered if the colors of the letters related to the colors of the foods but still can't figure it!
Hey Jenny,
The colors do relate a little, but not entirely, as he has no foam letters in the colors of whole wheat bread or Ranch dressing. :)
Here's the answer...and remember, this gastronomic monstrosity is Jed's creation, not mine: :)
The two purple letters stand for two slices of whole wheat bread.
The two orange letters stand for two slices of American cheese.
The one red letter stands for a piece of thick-sliced bologna.
The blue letter stands for Ranch dressing.
The sandwich is assembled in the order in which it's shown (the first piece of bread on the left being the bottom of the sandwich) and then zapped in the microwave for 35 minutes.
Yuck. That's all I have to say about that. :) But I like the clue.
oops...make that 35 seconds! haha
That is hilarious! You have a little comedian on your hands! Not that there is anything wrong with that. ;)
A comedian, yes; a food snob, no. :D
