Today is Jed's 11th birthday! We took him to Jungle Rapids, a place in town that has a water park, putt-putt, go-karts, a climbing wall, arcade, and laser tag - in other words, a kid's paradise. We started off with laser tag, which was AWESOME! None of us had ever played before and it was so much fun.
The guy who showed us our scores said he had never seen such a close game before. Which was hilarious, since Tracy thought he was killing us in there. He beat me by one shot and I beat Jed by one shot. But Tracy did kill us in the percentage of shots he made - I only hit 10% of the shots I fired. :)
Next up was putt-putt. It rained all day yesterday and that had cooled things off, which we were really grateful for. The evening was pleasant and the course was beautiful.
Then it was back home for cake and ice cream. Jed chose something different this year - he wanted a hot fudge cake. I don't think I did a great job with that, but he was happy. :)
I don't know what Jed wished for, but my wish is that time would stop going by so quickly!
