We've been seeing the white heron and the blue heron hanging out together a lot lately, and they keep showing up in this same spot...I wonder if they have a nest there. It doesn't seem the right time of year for that, but since it never really gets cold here, maybe they nest in the fall too? I scoured the internet looking for nesting information but couldn't find anything. Anyone out there an expert on herons? :)
