I know pictures taken from the car are not the best,
but the aspens were so pretty along the way I couldn't resist.
We stayed in Ouray, or "Little Switzerland," as it's known by the locals.
The Matterhorn Motel fit right in. :)
Ouray, as well as Telluride and Silverton, the towns we visited,
are in the Rio Grande National Forest.
