June 5, 2015 - Part 3

 After leaving Yorktown, we drove the Colonial Parkway to Williamsburg.

 This was one of the most exquisite drives I've ever taken, complete with cobblestone road.

 All of the overpasses were made of brick and they were stunning.

Every few miles there were turn-offs where signs provided historical information.  
I can't remember what the significance of this body of water was, but it was lovely.

This little doe didn't seem bothered at all when I stopped to take her portrait.
