Until this trip, I hadn't realized how high the hills were behind Lincolnville. Being on the water gives a much different perspective of the mainland. While traveling in Lincolnville you really don't have the feeling of being tucked into the hills like it looks here. I'm so glad we got to see this.
The ferry station in Lincolnville was awaiting our return.
