This wall was made of, believe it or not, plastic straws.

I so wish this picture had turned out better...

the most amazing thing about this piece is that the view from the side made it look like the substance was soft and pillowy...

there was no way you would have known it was the sharp edges of straws.

It was pretty fascinating.

A close up of the straws...the majority were clear, but white straws made what looked like fault lines,
which you might be able to faintly see in the first two pictures, if you click on them to enlarge them.
